Getting Started on Choosing Your AGR System…
HOW TO GET STARTED
It’s important to remember when installing a generator, that it’s not really for the average DIY enthusiast. Your generator connects to your home’s electrical panel and either natural gas or propane, which should be installed by an experienced professional.
As a result, installing your generator starts with a site visit or virtual inspection by your local AGR Dealer or licensed professional. They will assist you in selecting the appropriate generator size, the optimal fuel source, the ideal location for your generator/cover and placement of your power inlet box. They will then take a look at your breaker box and determine the correct interlock switch or manual transfer switch needed for your home.
